The Lodge

Situated in the county town of Buckinghamshire, is the Olympic Lodge Hotel. It's located within the grounds of Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic Games!

As the Lodge has been used for different Paralympic games, there is a private dormitory attached to the main hotel, which is where the children will sleep. We will have beds and teepees set up so that when your child arrives at Sleep Out, they will be allocated a sleeping area, depending on their age and gender. 

What will your child need?
-Sleeping Bag/ Small duvet
-Pillow
-Pyjamas
-Toothbrush and toothpaste
-Any personal medication/ Inhaler
-Spare clothes
-Outfit for the next day
-Sleep Nappies
-Comforter

On arrival to their overnight stay, the children will be met at the front door of the dormitory, and be scanned onto the site using their NOWCA safety software profile. They will then be taken down to the dorm to join the other children for a night of games, wellness activities, and yoga before bedtime.

Overnight bookings are non-transferable. Refunds may be offered under certain conditions.

NOWCA membership:
All Sleep Out venues are NOWCA affiliated venues. This means you must be a NOWCA member to book an overnight stay.

This needs to be done via our booking app called ACTiO which can be used on both Android and Apple devices. You should set up a FREE profile for yourself, (Parent/ Guardian) and then set up a PAID profile for your child, as this will then allow you to book your child in for an overnight stay at any affiliated venue.

When you arrive for your first overnight stay, your child will be issued with a NOWCA wristband, which they must wear throughout their stay at Sleep Out. This is their safety profile, and contains all of their personal, emergency, dietary and health information on it. The child must tap in and out of the venue, you will then be sent an email with this information after their stay. Please allow up to 12 hours to receive this information.

Please note: NOWCA provides an integrated booking, safety & venue management system for Sleep Out venues. Any issues or problems with the NOWCA system need to be directed to Sleep Out.
